Many staff alumni say that working at 4-H Camp Overlook is one of their fondest memories- it's time outdoors in a beautiful Adirondack setting, doing something active and worthwhile, being a role model and mentor to youth, and making life-long friendships. OFF SEASON (AUG-JUNE)

We are currently taking applications for part time, occasional positions that work at camp from August to June. These staff assist with offering programs and services to school groups, rental groups, weddings, and for 4-H programs. SEASONAL SUMMER CAMP- 2026

Our summer camp hires approximately 40-50 staff each summer for our overnight camp. These include positions for Camp Counselors, Program Activity Leaders, Kitchen Staff, and Camp Nurse. Great skills to have are training in lifeguarding, shooting sports, high ropes or knowledge in science, nature & outdoors or creative arts.
Applications for 2026 will be posted in the fall of 2025 with returning staff requested to apply no later than January 15th.
